Role Description
DocSend is looking for a highly analytical Business Analyst to partner closely with our product, marketing, sales, and executive teams to create reporting solutions that drive better decision-making and ultimately help DocSend achieve its goals.
As a member of the DocSend Growth team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, and impact every team at DocSend. Your mission will be to execute analyses and implement systems that help us better understand our business, identify growth opportunities, and evaluate the success of strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop a deep, quantitative understanding of our customer lifecycle
- Partner closely with engineering to integrate DocSend’s various data silos and implement a BI solution
- Streamline internal reporting by identifying core KPIs and developing executing-facing dashboards to track them
- Perform analytical deep-dives into focus areas, prepare recommendations, and present to senior leaders to influence strategy
- Scale and up-level custom product reporting for key managed accounts
- Partner with marketing to develop create research reports for publication
- BA with quantitative focus (Economics, Statistics, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years minimum in an analytical role at a technology company (e.g. Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Product Analyst) or equivalent experience in consulting or investment banking
- 3 years working with databases, using SQL across standard relational environments
- Deep interest and aptitude in data and analysis
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating reports within a BI solution (Tableau, Looker, Periscope, etc.)
- Proven problem solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources and produce actionable insights
- Strong experience with conversion funnel and revenue metrics in a SaaS business
- Experience with full implementation lifecycle for delivery of BI and analytics solutions from data integration through visualization
- Experience integrating sales and marketing data sources with application data (e.g Salesforce, Google Analytics, Segment)
