BigBear.ai is seeking a Principal Product Manager in support of our next-generation enterprise product development across the BigBear.ai portfolio. You will work in close partnership with BigBear.ai product team leadership, other product managers, program managers, UX designers, and developers throughout the process, and play a key role in the development and implementation of the product development execution. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset and a creative and collaborative approach with delivering technology and customer satisfaction top of mind. This position can be based in San Diego, CA; Chantilly, VA; or possibly remote.

What you will do

  • Collaboratively partner with other teams within the organization to drive business outcomes; actively build relationships within the organization, and with customers.
  • Work with research and engineering teams across BigBear looking for opportunities to incorporate intellectual property into core product offerings.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, competitors, and partners to influence product strategy and roadmap.
  • Define clear product requirements and foster them through the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Work with the Marketing and Sales teams on GTM related activities.
  • Partner closely with other teams including Engineering, Customer Success, Design, QA, and Operations.
  • Provide alignment from corporate goals through to individual product goals.



What you need to have

  • 12+ years of Product Management or equivalent experience.
  • BA/BS in a relevant area or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in conceptualizing & launching successful enterprise products.
  • Demonstrated experience in Enterprise B2B / SaaS systems.
  • Breadth in both established and emerging technologies like big data, data warehousing, data fabric, data virtualization, data sciences, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
  • Ability to motivate, influence and drive results while also holding strong soft skills for relationship building and consensus building.
  • Outstanding written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player, recognizing that we go farther when we go together.



What we'd like you to have

  • Experience launching a product from inception to market.
  • Experience with user centric design, the creation of metric reporting and exploration (business intelligence) dashboards, and architecting big data analytics systems.
  • Practical experience with qualitative and quantitative research to drive decisions.
  • Master's degree in Business or Computer Science.
