Principal Product Manager
As a Principal Product Manager on the Product Management team, you will be an integral partner across the organization, working cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, Operations, Product Marketing, and the rest of the business to make our vision of using software to “empower the ambitious” at Arrive Logistics a reality. In this role, we’ll be relying on you to develop strategic initiatives that align with key quarterly and annual business objectives, coordinate multiple product and feature launches, support the development of your colleagues, and be a senior leader in the Product organization capable of understanding and articulating our holistic roadmap and strategy. Essential Functions:
- Lead your Product and Engineering team(s) to support key personas and technology and become the go-to subject matter expert on your roadmap, development work, documentation, go-to-market processes, and communication with the business cross-functionally.
- Act as a senior leader from product and engineering to our customer-facing teams (Sales, Operations, Admin) and external users in order to ensure successful product launches by developing cohesive GTM strategies and long-term adoption monitoring.
- Provide mentorship and lead-by-example for your colleagues on the Product team showcasing best practices and anecdotal success as it relates to our mission.
- Actively seek out mentorship, learning, and personal enrichment opportunities to become a thought-leader in the Logistics space.
- Actively contribute to an amazing work culture.
Education and/or Experience:
- 5+ years of Product Management leadership or senior-level individual contributor experience
- 5+ years of experience working directly with Product, Design, and Engineering
- Previous experience with Logistics preferred
- You’ll be an advocate for high-quality development work, ruthless prioritization of resources to align with business objectives, and operate in a strategic, detail-oriented, and highly creative way with an aptitude for solving unstructured problems
- Demonstrated success managing multiple complex cross-functional projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work well with different roles, personality types, and seniority leadership
- Ability to self-motivate and drive projects independently
- Sufficient technical knowledge in order to gain the respect of and work alongside engineers
