The Principal Product Management role will play an integral part in defining the vision for new Project & Development Services (PDS) products in partnership with the Integrated Services Development and Product Operationalization teams, as determined by unmet market need and client pain points. Through a needs-based innovation framework, this role will identify and understand the "the Job" our clients are trying to get done in order to focus on the unmet or underserved desired outcomes of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to drive large impact on a cross functional team and to transform the future of work.

The collective team will sit at the intersect of all workplace disciplines and be responsible driving the synergistic relationships between such groups, including Sustainability, Experience, Portfolio and Occupancy Planning, Workplace Consulting, etc. This role will be part of a growing Product Organization and will be part of a new Product Family/Discipline within the PDS Team at JLL, working towards the creation of scalable and repeatable end-to-end/comprehensive services. PDS provides all the tools and resources needed to manage design and construction of both simple and complex projects from initiation to completion.

Purpose:

  • Focuses on and drives the "What" vs. "How" of a product
  • Strategic management of the entire product lifecycle process
  • Sets vision and establishes priorities
  • Ensures requirements are met in final product deliverable
  • Identifies and understands integration points within JLL and/or partners
  • Leads cross-functional collaboration & VOC


Responsibilities:

  • Establish long term product vision
  • Define & manage roadmap
  • Write product specs & requirements
  • Prioritize client feedback/VOC
  • Monitor/develop competitive analysis
  • Align Stakeholders around the product vision


Requirements:

  • Preferred experience in corporate real estate, project management, workplace design, workforce strategy, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years of product management experience with demonstrated track record of commercial success while driving a host of initiatives at once, managing product budget(s), team resources / stakeholders, product roadmaps, and digital/technology product development.
  • Function as Product Owner to determine required integration points and business requirements across business / service lines.
  • Working knowledge of agile development, service design, human centered design, and / or Jobs-To-Be-Done Theory would be desirable.
  • Experience working on global projects and products across a matrixed environment.
  • Strategic thinker with an emphasis on business strategy and the ability to identify solutions to business challenges.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, complexity, and ability to move forward despite unknowns. Ability to cut down the complexity and work towards a simple solution and fast approach.
  • Articulate and effective communicator, comfortable presenting to large groups, clients, and senior executives.
  • Naturally curious with a passion for creative thinking, innovation and pushing the envelope.
  • 'Achiever' mentality - independent, self-performer with the ability to rapidly complete project initiatives and attain a multitude of team goals simultaneously and autonomously.
  • Proven ability to connect with customers and users to identify needs and translate to differentiated products and offerings that provide competitive differentiation.
  • An ability to tell a story around innovation, find opportunity based on customer needs, and deliver innovation efforts leading to change.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence colleagues that do not report to you.
