The Role
The At Work Product and Engineering team will lay out the foundational platform services to support SoFI’s Enterprise offering for employers. The offering comprises SoFi’s Financial Wellness solution including digital and live advice, student loan employer contribution matching, 529 College Savings Plans and more.
The team will be responsible for building the user interface and end to end backend data flow for all services used across this enterprise financial wellness suite, including third party account linking/integrations for members, the contribution matching platform, and a chat based interaction with financial coaches.
Responsibilities
- Lead the product vision for the next generation of the SoFi At Work platform, SoFi’s enterprise offering to employees including Financial Wellness tools and Employer Contribution Benefits.
- Work closely with cross functional teams including Lending and other business units to drive adoption of their products through the At Work channel
- Solve problems in a scalable and extensible fashion taking a customer-centric approach
- Be able to lead in a fast paced agile environment
- Define and drive KPIs that measure success for the next generation of SoFi’s enterprise financial services
- Work extremely closely with engineering and design to build platforms that make incremental impact
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with an engineering and technical discipline
- Demonstrated experience building, shipping and maintaining platforms that power consumer-facing products
- Superior communication skills, written and verbal, especially with engineering and other PMs
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on deadlines
- Experience managing complex product development cycles and highly technical solutions
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent disciplines
- Software engineering background and/or MBA is a strong plus
- 8+ years product management
- Direct PM experience in the employee benefits space
- Deep understanding of Software as a Service (SAAS) and/or B2B2C products including delivering product iterations within sales cycles
- Passion for FinTech and helping people get their money right
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
