Principal Product Manager - Shopper Growth and Retention
Product Managers at Gopuff serve as portfolio managers for broad domains, and you will be expected to take on high-visibility projects that influence priority objectives throughout the company.
The Gopuff product management team is looking for an experienced product leader with a growth mindset who enjoys solving complex problems at the intersection of consumer experience, technology, and business while operating in a hyper-growth environment. Gopuff is rapidly expanding and requires an experienced product leader to own new feature requirements and drive key metrics in shopper growth and retention areas such as onboarding, customer referrals, and growth CRM. In this role you will partner closely with marketing, UX, technology and product analytics teams to improve our global product offering and accelerate new customer acquisition by continuously innovating and testing new features.
You will become a domain expert and proactively drive innovation in your area of ownership, and as a leader on the Product Management team, you will also push the thinking of your peers and leaders across the company. You'll work horizontally across the company, impacting roadmaps on all teams. Success of this role is measured through impact to the business; in this role, you will directly influence Gopuff's unit economics, customer satisfaction, and frequency drivers.
Demonstrate an even blend of technical and commercial Product Management skills, and show strong data analysis fluency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the customer discovery, solutioning, and implementation for areas of ownership
- Partner with directors of Business Development, Finance, Legal, Operations, Analytics and Strategy; serve as catalyst for substantive cross-functional debates on strategic priorities
- Be proactive about customer needs, don't wait for others to make a request
- Influence the business strategy cross-company for areas of ownership
- Drive large cross-company projects that may be outside of day-to-day domain
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management with a focus on building world class digital consumer products.
- Customer-obsessed with a passion for transforming customer needs into an actionable product vision
- Strong user experience/design sensibility, with a record of shipping delightful products
- Excellent organizational skills, analytic capabilities, and attention to detail
- In tune with emerging technology and consumer trends, with a knack for seeing around corners
- Demonstrated ability to create an environment that fosters data-driven experimentation at high velocity
- Has a technically relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Zero-to-one product management experience, launching a new consumer product
- Deep knowledge of the retail, and/or e-commerce ecosystem
- Experience with using customer research to learn customer needs and product value, with demonstrated ability to influence product roadmap
- A strong leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives
