Senior Product Manager - Product Pricing

Senior Product Managers at Gopuff serve as the agile product owner for one or more scrum teams. In addition to leading your cross-functional teams to meet roadmap objectives, Senior PM's are expected to take on high-visibility projects that influence business objectives throughout the company. You will become a domain expert and proactively drive innovation in product pricing systems. Success of this role is measured by daily purchase conversion rate, average order value, product margin and customer order frequency / return rates. In addition, this role will have operational responsibility for the various aspects of our pricing systems enabling our business to test pricing strategies, assess product pricing against competitors, automate price setting based on well-defined strategies and test price elasticity across our product catalog.
We have hubs in Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco, NYC, LA, Austin, Boston, and Chicago, and are location-agnostic for this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, spanning dozens of engineers, in driving pricing innovation to power Gopuff's high-growth eCommerce business
- Manage multiple, concurrent initiatives in various phases of ideation, execution, and delivery
- Develop operational efficiency to bring the highest quality products to market in the least amount of time
- Create multi-quarter roadmaps and socialize them with executive leadership
- Develop deep partnership with teams of marketers, engineers, designers, researchers, and analysts to uncover insights and opportunities that shape your strategy and prioritization
- Be proactive about customer needs, don't wait for others to make a request
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of Product Management leadership experience with progressive increase in responsibilities.
- Demonstrated technical acumen; ability to influence and debate solutions with technical team members, to understand technology solutions and potential tradeoffs and to represent technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership of direct and/or indirect teams.
- Ability to work independently; able to successfully operate in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity; self-starter and quick learner; calm and efficient under pressure
- Be versatile and be able to prioritize/handle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment with tough deadlines
- BA/BS with emphasis on quantitative skills such as in economics, business, mathematics, engineering; MBA or Masters in related field is a bonus
