Senior Product Manager - Product Information Management

Position Summary
Gopuff is seeking a Senior Product Manager to work on Product Information Management (PIM), within Product Catalog. The Product Catalog is where product data, inclusive of photography and metadata, is being curated in order to support the customers shopping experience via the app, within retail stores, or via off platform partnerships across all markets that Gopuff does business. The Senior Product Manager will work on the strategy, design and execution of prioritized features across the PIM, both current and future. As Gopuff grows, the SPM will help ensure that the PIM can scale to support growth across geographies, sku count, new categories being introduced, while creating on-going efficiencies for users curating data.
Senior Product Managers at Gopuff serve as the agile product owner for one or more scrum teams. In addition to leading your cross-functional teams to meet roadmap objectives, Senior PM's are expected to take on high-visibility projects that influence business objectives throughout the company. You will become a domain expert and proactively drive innovation in the PIM which will unlock capabilities across the supply chain, driver ops, shopping experiences, etc. Success of this role is measured by efficiencies created for users and time savings generated during the data curation process. As a critical dependency for digital experiences, you will also impact daily purchase conversion rate, average order value, and customer order frequency / return rates.
We have hubs in Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco, NYC, LA, Austin, and Chicago, and are location-agnostic for this role.
Responsibilities
- Work to develop a product roadmap that drives meaningful innovation and user adoption while balancing data governance needs for the organization.
- Communicate and collaborate closely with engineering, category managers, supply chain, and other critical product management partners within the company to ensure that the product offerings address customer requirements.
- Execute against a product roadmap that allows Gopuff to scale while continuing to add and enter new verticals and categories.
- Set aggressive yet realistic and practical goals for the team with clear objectives regarding measurement, results, and accountability of actions.
- Continue to innovate to ensure that Gopuff has a scalable approach to curate data for new products, categories, geographies and channels.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to pursue in future products
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management with a focus on building world class digital consumer products.
- Customer-obsessed with a passion for transforming customer needs into an actionable product vision
- Strong user experience/design sensibility, with a record of shipping delightful products
- Excellent organizational skills, analytic capabilities, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work with and influence a broad group of stakeholders
- In tune with emerging technology and consumer trends, with a knack for seeing around corners
- Has a technically relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Deep knowledge of the retail, and/or e-commerce ecosystem
- A strong leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives
