Principal Product Manager, Consumer (Remote)

POSITION SUMMARY
Gopuff is seeking a Principal Product Manager work on our consumer shopping product offerings. The shopping experience is a critical aspect of Gopuff’s customer interaction and overall business, and this is a significant opportunity to establish innovation around the way consumers engage and shop with Gopuff. The Principal Product Manager will work on the strategy, design and execution of product management for all of Gopuff’s consumer and shopping products - current and future. As Gopuff grows, this team will also focus on innovation in new areas, expansion into new verticals from food to pharmacy products, and how those get surfaced and integrated into the goPuff experience. This would require envisioning the future of convenient and immediate shopping, and working closely with our Strategy, M&A and Operations teams to realize that vision.
In this role, the PPM will collaborate with engineering, design and other product areas on the delivery of the consumer product roadmap and then ensure the delivery of the user experiences that drive significant growth in customer adoption, usage, and engagement. This is a special opportunity for an experienced product manager who wants to impact the go-to platform for consumers' everyday needs.
We have hubs in Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco, NYC, LA, Austin, Boston, and Chicago, and are location-agnostic for this role.
Key Requirements
- Work with the VP, Consumer to develop a product roadmap that drives meaningful innovation and user adoption. Establish and drive the execution of cross-platform (web, mobile) product strategies that enable a cutting edge shopping experience for our customers.
- Communicate and collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, business development, sales, and other key constituents within the company to ensure that the product offerings address customer requirements and market dynamics.
- Execute against a product roadmap that allows Gopuff to scale while continuing to add and enter new verticals and categories.
- Set aggressive yet realistic and practical goals for the team with clear objectives regarding measurement, results, and accountability of actions.
- Help drive the vision for the shopping product offering.
- Continue to innovate to ensure that Gopuff has the best shopping interface, creating a best in class user experience for our current and future customers.
- Help define and execute the growth strategy for Shopping over the near, mid, and long term future, establishing opportunities for launching into new markets domestically and across the globe.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to pursue in future products
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management with a focus on building world class digital consumer products.
- Customer-obsessed with a passion for transforming customer needs into an actionable product vision
- Strong user experience/design sensibility, with a record of shipping delightful products
- Excellent organizational skills, analytic capabilities, and attention to detail
- In tune with emerging technology and consumer trends, with a knack for seeing around corners
- Demonstrated ability to create an environment that fosters data-driven experimentation at high velocity
- Has a technically relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Zero-to-one product marketing experience, launching a new consumer product
- Deep knowledge of the retail, and/or e-commerce ecosystem
- Record of developing customer-centric marketing strategies to drive product adoption
- Experience with using customer research to learn customer needs and product value, with demonstrated ability to influence product roadmap
- A strong leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives
