About the Role:
This Senior Devops Engineer provides expertise in the development and automation of new and existing products, services, and processes. They translate our customers' needs into reality and their dreams into vision, through next generation technology we move our customers forward into modern solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will provide leadership and mentoring to other members of the Product Development teams, you will lead by example and shape the next generation of Epicor developers and support staff.
What You'll Do:
* Design and build automation to deploy code to thousands of systems
* Plans, designs, develops, and tests software systems or applications.
* Works closely with other teams to ensure CI/CD needs are meet and planned.
* Partner with Product QA for review and resolve findings.
* Designs and delivers formal or informal training, mentorship, and supports other developers.
* Recommends and implements best practices.
* Research external best practices to incorporate and improve current products and processes.
* Proactively optimizes processes (automation, continuous integration, etc).
What You Need to Succeed:
* 10+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
* AWS experience with coding and deploying IAAS and PAAS
* Bachelor's degree
* Python expertise for backend development and data mining
* Linux expertise with Ansible deployment knowledge
* Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
* Postgresql experience or other database platform.
* Web development (Angular/JavaScript)
