Principle Product Manager, Future Products
San Diego, CA
This position reports to: Sr. Director of Product Management, Future Products

This role resides in ServiceNow's Future Products Organization and is very collaborative; working across the organization as well as with customers to define and deliver new product offerings for ServiceNow. The candidate must have relentless curiosity, a passion for identifying new opportunities, and a get-it-done attitude.
Principle Product Manager, Future Products will join one on of ServiceNow's Future Products team, responsible for vetting opportunities and defining customer requirements for new business areas in multiple markets. This person will work closely with ServiceNow customers and will focus on identification and creation of new solutions, product prototyping, feature definition and prioritization. This person will drive their product roadmap and help scale ServiceNow's Future business. This role requires a mix of Strategic insight as well as classic Product Management skills (i.e. starting from scratch, understanding market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and technologies that support those customer needs and ultimately the build / buy trade-offs).

- Evaluate new product ideas, refine the business case, build prototypes for early customer validation, and prepare them for launch
- Maintain a firm grasp of the competitive landscape and identify areas of competitive differentiation for internal consumption and competitive programs Work closely with Strategy, Product teams, and external Customers/Partners to formulate our product vision, strategy and roadmap for ServiceNow's Future Products
- Advocate for the voice of the customer and provide a business perspective on value during day-to-day development
- Meet with the field to understand the requirements of customers & prospects and win new business
- Define and prioritizing a backlog of work
- Collaborate with the development team to define, design, accept, and adapt features
- Conduct demonstrations of the product, both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers
- Collaborate with Business Development to evaluate new partnerships and alliance opportunities
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- 5+ years of experience in product management or product marketing, experience with project management or agile development preferred.
- Experience building solutions geared towards large enterprise companies
- Proven track record in constructing compelling positioning and thought leadership content
- Experience and comfort in building and influencing relationships across product lines and functional groups
- Proven creative thinker that can generate and execute on innovative product marketing ideas
- Comfortable delivering product presentations to large audiences
- Experience working with a high-growth SaaS product line preferred
- Willing to travel up to 10%

A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
