Job Description

The ISO Solutions unit of Verisk Insurance Solutions is looking for a Technical Product Specialist to support PAAS (Premium Audit Advisory Service) and the development of digital products to support an insurance carrier’s premium audit function. The candidate will be responsible for working closely with Product Managers, Product Development, and Customers to assist in servicing customers and supporting the growth and development of PAAS digital products. The candidate will also be responsible for technical requirement gathering, implementation, product presentations, training and troubleshooting. 

This position will be responsible for the timely and smooth implementation of new products, process improvement and coordination of any problems or issues as they arise for new and existing customers. This position requires strong skills in project management and converting the voice of the customer into digital products.

Organizational Unit: ISO Solutions 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Develop extensive knowledge of product and features to support customers, sales and service 
  • Provide second-level support to answer technical questions and triage issues for resolution including PC hardware and software troubleshooting 
  • Liaise with Product Development, Support and Customers to determine root cause analysis and provide Answers customer and field support questions; provides guidance and support for product integration and infrastructure issues 
  • Identifies, documents, and provide resolutions for maintenance issues and bugs from customers, Sales and Service 
  • Coordinates with service support and customers to address and resolve problems and expand product usage
  • Coordinate new feature implementation and customization 
  • This role requires travel to customer sites as needed

Qualifications

  • BS in Business with a Computer Science minor (or work equivalent) 
  • 5 years Product Management Experience 
  • Self-starter, with strong sense of ownership, assertive follow-through, and a passion for the highest level of customer satisfaction 
  • 5 years Prior implementation management, sales support, product support or customer services experience is required 
  • Background in insurance industry preferred 
  • Highly organized, sharp individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
