The Outbound Product Manager function is part of the Product Organization. This particular role will be responsible for strengthening technology partnership by defining, leading and executing on product GTM plan. S/he will be collaborating with cross-functional GTM teams to create and enhance joint solutions, develop collateral and enable GTM team to sell, implement and support the joint solution. This role is extraordinarily collaborative, working not only with peers in inbound and outbound product managers, but also cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Outcomes, Solution Consultants, Support and Alliance & Channels.

- Be the internal voice of stakeholders: Build relationships with stakeholders and support them through adopter programs, understand their pain-points and issues in the field with the product. Create demos and present at conferences and to cross-functional teams. Champion product capabilities to the rest of the cross-functional orgs such as Sales and Marketing, SC, Customer Outcomes, etc. to influence strategic direction of the business.
- Develop Product Strategy: Evaluate competitive and market data to develop a point of view on the product. Work closely with Competitive team to ensure comprehensive understanding of the product’s market position.
- Drive Go-to-Market Activities: Work cross-functionally with the entire Go-to-Market working teams to define and execute on release delivery plans. Develop core positioning and messaging for the product along with appropriate demos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Go-to-Market stakeholders to address enablement across Sales and Solution Consulting.
- Deliver core content on integration capabilities.
- Work closely with other business unit teams to review cross product capabilities and deliver videos, podcast, collaterals to enable stakeholders.
- Review and establish accurate reviews and sign offs with each stakeholder and deliver content through the Go-to-Market framework and process.
- Create and drive automation on created Core content, review with stakeholders using multiple tools such as SharePoint, BuildTools, Office365, etc.
- Work closely with Inbound PM to create and publish the roadmap for integration across ITSM and other BUs.
- Engage with Sales and Marketing to understand problems which customers and prospects most often look to ServiceNow to solve.
- Collaborate with other product teams to develop demos that showcase non-product specific outcomes.
- Collaborate with other product teams to develop demos, scripts and narratives that work across multiple BUs.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a B2B client facing role (Product Management, Program Management, Professional Services, Account Management).
- Be comfortable and thrive presenting to large audiences as well as be able to go-deep 1:1 with customers.
- Think strategically, learn fast and communicate with impact.
- Have demonstrated past experience defining paths to market for new products, applications or features as well as the successful execution of that go to market strategy.
- Have experience creating engaging and educating content. Types of content could include, but is not limited to, presentations, datasheets, whitepapers, infographics, and videos.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Have demonstrated the ability to solve complex problems.
- Be willing to travel up to 20% of the year.
Travel: 10 to 20% annually
