Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Grocery Team’s promotions, Prime and EDLC processes.
  • Receive, handle, and process large volumes of excel files from suppliers via email.
  • Coordinate with other team members who use a shared email account.
  • Ensure complete and accurate processing of promo files. 
  • Troubleshoot issues with Excel files and application anomalies.
  • Enter data and ensure data accuracy for analysis on promotions and EDLC programs.
  • Maintain data integrity across multiple applications.
  • Run data audits to ensure accurate data alignment.
  • Contribute to improving applications used by purchasing team.
  • Maintain positive and productive working relationships suppliers and business partners.
  • Assist in report generation of reoccurring and ad hoc reports.
  • Provide backup support for Category Managers, Merchandising Assistants, Marketing Team and other WFM team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in data presentation including charts and pivot tables - advanced Excel experience preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis tools, MicroStrategy preferred.
  • Detail oriented team player with strong math, reading, analytical and deductive/inductive reasoning skills.
  • Excellent communication and follow up skills including written, verbal and listening.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback.
  • Positive attitude, solid work ethic and enjoyment performing a support role.
  • Self-motivated with ability to ensure accuracy while working independently or in a group.
  • A passion for food; preferably Organics, Fair Trade, Quality Standards and the Natural Foods Industry.
  • Ability to write and proof read reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from buyers, business partners, customers, suppliers and the general public.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize work load and to be flexible. Organized and eager to learn new things and expand responsibilities in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a group.
