Job Summary
Comcast's Home and Converged business is a key to our future. As the market evolves, so does Comcast as we look to converge our business initiatives as well as our partner brands. To facilitate growth, Comcast is seeking a Manager, Xfinity Mobile Product Strategy. You'll wear multiple hats: analyst, strategist, and storyteller. As an integral player on a high-performance team, you'll coordinate data-based insights related to the product development of Mobile and Converged services. We don't report on the "what" - we deliver information about the "why" related to products that deliver the best internet experience for our customers. We're curious about everything in the marketer's scope: consumer segmentation, product awareness and consideration, purchase, and lifecycle. Success means driving strategy as a key stakeholder at the decision-making table: preparing, investigating, and delivering findings that optimizes all aspects of our Home and Converged business.
Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Managing 12-18 month roadmap for Mobile products- defining strategy, direction and providing cross functional project leadership.
  • Develops and communicates 12-18 month strategy for Mobile products- including device enhancements, portfolio expansion, emerging device capabilities, promotional tools, etc.
  • Proactively seeks out and creates emerging Mobile opportunities for Converged business as part of 12-18 month planning process.
  • Ability to develop/analyze GTM plans for broad variety of Mobile products.
  • Integral part of the 12-36 month hardware roadmap development process.
  • Providing analysis, business cases and market segmentation to provide SLT with all data that is needed to make decisions on roadmaps.
  • Partnering with XGIE Experience leads to develop the GTM Strategy and assure it aligns with experience expectations in all Comcast business units.
  • Consults with Divisional leads and partners to maintain a consistent roadmap of products that cover all aspects of the business.
  • Provide market and segment analysis of existing products to provide relevant data for new product development
  • Provide input into Converged opportunities between HSD, Home and Mobile as part of the overall strategy of XGIE
  • Works to ensure there is a smooth transition of all product feature launches to relevant teams/stakeholders.
  • Translates business needs into analysis designs providing insight, knowledge, and understanding of customers, products, and industries.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.



Minimum Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with large and small audiences verbally, through relevant and timely presentations, and via written correspondence.
  • Demonstrated strong time-management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • "Lead by example" mentality that promotes collaboration, openness and accountability with other departments and external partners.
  • Excellent analytic and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to analyze and leverage data from multiple sources to plan and measure success criteria of projects.
  • Thorough understanding of product development lifecycle processes, procedures and tools.
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organization, including team members in the field.
  • Internal Comcast experience (within the Divisions and/or HQ) a plus.

Education

Bachelor's Degree
