Capital One's Card Acquisitions Modernization Program (AMP) is seeking candidates who are hungry to be at the forefront of innovation to help define and create new experiences that will benefit hundreds of millions of Americans.
We are seeking Product Managers to work on AMP, Capital One's credit card application decisioning platform. AMP combines the latest cloud technologies with industry leading underwriting to deliver an exceptional application experience to our card applicants.
In this role you will work with engineers, architects, analysts and operations leaders to define the product strategy for AMP's offer decisioning platform and develop next-gen capabilities that will enable seamless product upsells, downsells and cross-sells during the application experience. As the Product Manager, you will be able to empathize with users and customers, understand business needs, and ideate and evaluate solutions tailored to those needs. You will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibilities, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.
General areas of responsibilities:
- Set product vision and lead road mapping, goal setting, prioritizing, capability delivery, and product roll-out strategy
- Continually drive to understand customer needs and ensure they are considered in prioritization and trade-off discussions
- Develop and lead customer research, prototyping, and test and learn agendas with a focus on building MVP experiences to learn about hypotheses
- Define, socialize, and monitor key performance indicators to understand the evolution and success of the project.
- Lead grooming activities within an Agile team, specifically defining and writing user stories, acceptance criteria and customer experience
- Build and maintain strong relationships and feedback loops with leaders and stakeholders who manage the downstream operations and processes that depend on the capabilities and performance of our platforms
- Help with overall thought leadership around horizontal platform convergence across Card programs

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 3 year of product management experience or at least 3 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- MBA or Master's degree
- 2+ years of experience in Agile product management
