The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Manager, Consumer Development to join the Innovation & Strategy team. This is your opportunity to shape the realization of consumer-driven content and experiences representing news, entertainment, sports, and wherever the future takes us. You'll play a key role in thinking through how to reach our goal of getting the right content to the right person at the right time in the right way at scale.

What You will Do
- Collaborate with a diversity of partners, stakeholders, and vendors to garner solid understanding of business goals
- Develop a deep understanding of existing and potential audiences and represent their needs, pain points, and delighters for innovation initiatives and across lines of business
- Partner with research and analytics continuously garnering user feedback and market intelligence to serve as decisioning inputs for new product features and capabilities
- Define goals, quantitative and qualitative key performance metrics and indicators, and ensure they are measurable and socialized along the project lifecycle
- Represent consumer-centric business recommendations to partners and stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Build and maintain a solid knowledgebase of consumer behavior amongst competitive products and market trends in news, entertainment, and sports across broadcast, web, mobile, and CTV
- Define and continuously optimize consumer development processes for efficacy, efficiency, and scale
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in customer development, CX, and/or product management roles
- Bachelor's degree in business, product design/UX, related field or equivalent practical experience
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to use research, data and insights to back up assumptions, inform recommendations, and drive actions
- Ability to bring design thinking / user empathy to the forefront in requirements documentation
- The soft skills to be able to recognize when to challenge conventional thinking in an effective way while also being receptive to feedback and differing points of view
- Start-up or consulting experience a plus
- SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager certification or Pragmatic Certified a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for company business
