What does a great Lead Advisor, Product Management do?
The Lead Advisor, Product Management will drive revenue growth by developing, launching, promoting, and enhancing products and services for existing and prospective clients. This individual plays a proactive role throughout the entire product life cycle, ensuring that our products and services are effective at addressing marketplace problems and needs. Provides overall leadership and execution direction of the product(s) roadmap from solution inception, launch, ongoing operations, and feature enhancements.

This role will support and collaborate with sales and account teams, solutions delivery / implementations, and training in addition to direct interaction with external partners that interface with providing products and solutions for Fiserv and our clients. You will be accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. This individual will lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure. You will also provide input to the strategic planning process and will provide subject matter expertise for both internal and external clients. Additionally, you will define your execution priorities in support of the Output Solutions strategic direction. The individual exemplifies strong initiative and management skills.

Essential Job Responsibilities:• Partnering with Product Strategy to understand market problems and revenue opportunities to ensure the solution meets market needs.• Collect feedback and input from clients, solutions delivery / implementations, sales, and account management teams to understand and quantify market size, needs and problems.• Manage the design and development of new product ideas and enhancements of existing projects/products.• Consult with Product Marketing to develop launch plans, define marketing requirements and ensure key product collateral exists, i.e.: product guides, sales presentations, demo scripts, flash demos, feature comparisons, etc.• Answer product questions arising from client and prospect meetings, implementations, and RFP requests.• Provide product subject matter expertise in development of training materials for internal audiences including sales, account management, and implementations.• Provide product subject matter expertise in development of marketing, communications, and sales materials for internal and external audiences.• Function as liaison to service delivery teams to ensure product setup procedures are established and improved as needed.• Identifying opportunities to streamline procedures, enhance revenue and improve product efficiency.• Insuring project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed.• Leading operational readiness and participating in product launch activities.• Managing and driving project schedule, risk and issue management, and scope change management.• Coordinate product development and support to ensure alignment on new product delivery timelines.• Working closely with technology resources to ensure requirements are interpreted correctly from business requirements to the detailed design specifications and in the construct of the overall product vision.• Delivery execution of product roadmap to illustrate the vision and key phases of deliverables for the product.• Interfacing with other Fiserv departments to generate and offer appropriate solutions.• Work with external partners as needed to establish development and delivery requirements for new products.• Support go-to-market activities.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:• Bachelor's Degree in equivalent field to show Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's degree• Minimum 5 - 7 years combined experience in a product delivery, business analyst, implementations analyst, or project manager role.• Experience in the financial services industry, experience in the production of communications a plus.• Proven track record of operating and navigating a highly complex, matrix environment.• Experience with working directly with clients to assess requirements and understand their needs.• Experience with product management and development required.• Ability to support product development, requirements gathering, and documentation.• Experience writing detailed business requirements and end user documentation.• Strong business acumen and willingness to learn various areas of our business.• Strong organizational skills.• Understanding of product lifecycle management.• Understanding of recent and upcoming developments in the financial statement industry (Print and Electronic Delivery).• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to effectively influence, communicate and work with all levels of the organization.• Proven success in delivering projects within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction• Proven problem-solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection• Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans• Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities• Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment• Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments• Performs duties under limited supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures

Travel required: 15%
