Description

The Koch Capability Transformation Team within Koch Global Services is seeking an IT Product Owner to join our Land, Infrastructure, Facilities & Real Estate (LIFT) and Matador Security Product team to partner in driving transformation and strategy while supporting leveraged, enterprise applications and surrounding technologies for LIFT transactions as well as our security business processes.

As we continue to transform these capabilities, it will be your job to develop the product team to be strategic partners with the business capabilities. To achieve this you will ensure that you align with the business vision and strategies to lead delivery of an enterprise solution throughout Koch. You will maintain focus and provide clear direction to the team members and be the product champion. You will be accountable for guiding the success of the product. This will include but is not limited to driving the product vision and strategies, development of the technology roadmap, seeking alignment with business stakeholders and determining our total cost of ownership.

To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to develop relationships, to manage multiple activities/projects at once, and demonstrate strong communication skills. You will excel by building relationships and communicating with business stakeholders at multiple levels to understand their strategies and requirements and match them with appropriate solutions.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Partner with the business process owners to ensure the vision and strategies are clearly understood and being implemented within the product
  • Interfacing with the business stakeholders to define priority, business needs, and requirements
  • Development and prioritization of the roadmap
  • Providing direction and prioritization to the product team that aligns with the stakeholder's vision
  • Driving accountability with our product vendors for project or product deliverables
  • Understanding the market and leading practices within the marketplace for the product
  • Understanding product costs and determining the cost recovery mechanism
  • Developing detailed knowledge and understanding of the business process
  • Working with customers, vendors, and IT teams to appropriately implement technology solutions
  • Working with the business to develop training plans and training materials that will be used in the training of end users on new systems and enhancements
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders in working with technology vendors to understand their capabilities and strategic roadmaps
  • Managing project or product scope by thoroughly understanding the business culture, environment, and people
  • Identifying opportunities to leverage applications across the organization to minimize duplicate systems within the organization
  • Engaging in analysis and decision-making processes for new initiatives
  • Communicating with leadership and stakeholders on current initiatives



The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in large, complex platforms with business process workflow or leading IT projects Implementations
  • Collaboration and influencing skills with peers and customers to influence and gain alignment on objectives
  • Experience working with product vendors, external customers and IT Teams for project deliverables
  • Experience developing training programs and materials for users of enhanced systems and products
  • Experience determining product costs

  • Experience implementing and/or supporting integrations and business processes used in facilities and security capabilities
  • Experience implementing projects using Agile methodologies
  • Strong economic, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving ability
