Procter & Gamble is looking for people with strong technology & marketing skills to play a key role in our Digital Experiences organization. About the role:
As the Direct to Consumer eCommerce Product Manager, you will lead the service strategy and product roadmap creation of next-gen API services & eCommerce applications supporting the P&G digital ecosystem. The role requires vast experience in designing & implementing eCommerce capabilities and practical experience in operating within Service-based Architectures. You will also work with external product teams to influence respective product roadmaps to better meet P&G needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Builds the product roadmap features working with in-house and external engineering resources and using cloud platform, data base and analytics technologies (owning design, product backlog, ETL/integration, data modelling, data pipeline, analytics semantic layer, etc.)
  • Understands interdependencies with other products/capabilities within the consumer and media space, defines new integration designs and implementation plans
  • Translate business requirements into IT products & services
  • Ensures work is delivered with quality, on-time, on-cost and according to business priorities and service level agreements with partners.
  • Provides feedback on consistency and uniformity of new developments.
  • Implements security and access management controls, ensures platform compliance with P&G policies and existing privacy regulations
  • Communicates system constraints to product teams, partners with stakeholders to assess innovation opportunities and new business cases
  • Ensure that the eCommerce platform is scalable, reusable & client friendly (e.g. self-serve)
  • Collaborate with Developers & Architecture team to make right technology choices & define where to use external services vs. build custom ones
  • Lead the Buy vs. Build the discussion with internal application owners & Brands that leads to a strategic advantage to the company.
  • Collaborate with P&G internal InfoSec Team to come up with best practices to secure our eCommerce stores.


Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing & operating an eCommerce store utilizing industry-leading platforms including BigCommerce and Shopify
  • 5+ years of experience in delivering eCommerce applications through a complete application lifecycle
  • 3+ years of experience with eCommerce building blocks & potential solutions to deliver them (e.g. payment providers, digital wallets, subscription, )
  • Proven experience implementing & operating an omnichannel eCommerce consumer experience
  • Proven experience with external 3rd party systems integration (e.g. Order Management and PIM)
  • Proven knowledge of managing and operating a DTC store (e.g. L1/L2/L3, Monitoring & Alerts)
  • Proficient in agile delivery & creating technical documentation for external development teams
  • Up to date knowledge on eCommerce platforms roadmaps & trends
