Job Summary
The IT Director is accountable for strategy setting, implementation and evaluation for multiple complex, initiatives, capabilities or functions. Ensures strategy alignment with overall IT and corporate strategies, translates and communicates impacts of strategy changes on work, projects and initiatives. Responsible for gaining alignment and driving change within assigned functions.

Essential Functions• The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned. • Provides oversight of decision-making and prioritization for multiple complex, business critical initiatives, capabilities or functions. 10%• Sets strategy for assigned function and ensures alignment with overall IT strategy. Translates and communicates impacts of strategy changes on work, projects and initiatives. 10%• Sets, articulates and oversees achievement of goals for multiple work units/sub-units/functions. 10%• Influences, interacts and makes decisions impacting across multiple lines of business. 10%• Responsible for most effective utilization of assigned resources. 10%• Establishes corporate policies for groups managed. 10%• Ensures continuity of business plans and strategies and congruence to overall corporate strategy. 10%• Decisions require coordination and mutual prioritization across corporate initiatives and divisions. 10%• Responsible for gaining alignment and driving change within assigned functions. 10%• Ensures adherence to practices, procedures, precedents, policy and leadership direction. 5%• Oversees budgets for large area and is responsible for tracking and managing impact of expenses on overall IT budget. 5%

Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Education Details:IT related field
Additional Required Qualifications• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams through complex system implementation initiatives while dealing with change and meeting schedule and budget objectives• Highly refined communication skills including ability to negotiate, build consensus, clearly articulate to technical and non-technical audiences, communicate difficult messages in a professional and productive manner, excellent presentation and facilitation competence and ability to represent IT as a leader in cross-functional discussions/initiatives• Ability to build trust and strategic partnerships with assigned business area contacts, project teams and leadership to facilitate two-way communication• Deep, thorough understanding of business processes being supported• Broad knowledge of information technology functions including information systems design and development, systems planning, programming, operations, architecture, data processing, data security, networks, systems support, and analysis• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, organization, prioritization, team-building, conflict management and time management skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications• Experience using Agile methodology• Specific tools, languages and specialty skills may vary
General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
