Position at Orion Advisor Solutions

The Investment Product Platform Manager is responsible for executing additions, modifications, and/or removals of investment products on Orion's investment platforms.

Additionally, the role will require maintenance of the current inventory of investment product that exist on the platform. This individual will be responsible for the Communities Model Marketplace as well as support for the Sales and Strategic Relationships teams.

Essential Functions of the Job:
• Executes investment product additions to the platform based on decisions made by the Investment Product Prioritization Committee
• Completes the removal of investment products determined to no longer be viable investment products for the platform
• Implements changes to investment products existing on the platform (e.g. fees, name changes, other attributes, etc.)
• Ensures downstream tasks are completed to fully accomplish the addition/modification/removal of an investment product (e.g. paperwork, proposal, billing, marketing, etc.)
• Manager of Communities Model Marketplace
• Supports Enterprise clients by providing the same services listed above for Enterprises with specific investment product needs
• Participate in the monthly Investment Product Prioritization Committee meeting to take away action steps
• Provide reporting on firm and specific investment product assets and flows
• Work with Strategic Relationships team regarding discussions with investment management firms
• Support the Sales and Wealth Advisory teams by providing information on the investment product
• Work with Marketing team to ensure documentation of investment strategies is updated and accurate
• Provide support in review of ADV and client agreements to ensure accuracy as it relates to investment platforms
• Work with technology on new enhancements and conduct user testing, as necessary
• Develop procedures for standard platform functions (e.g. additions, modifications, removals)
• Work with the technology/reporting teams to facilitate providing data back to firms with investment product on the platform

Education Needed to Perform the Job:
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or related field required
• FINRA Series 65 (or 66) must be obtained within 90 days of employment
• Minimum 5 years investments and/or financial services experience
