Investment Product Associate (Product Support and Investor Relations)

The Investment Team is part of Hamilton Lane's Global Private Markets platform responsible for the management and execution of all aspects of our investment programs. The Product Associate is a cross-functional role responsible for assisting with portfolio analytics, market analysis, fundraising, and strategy with a focus our Primary Fund commingled fund platforms. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, able to communicate effectively and operate in a fast-pace and deadline-driven environment where priorities often change.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and provide compelling quantitative and qualitative support in the pursuit of new business opportunities for new and existing clients (e.g. pricing models, portfolio return simulations, opportunity pricing, and competitive positioning
• Assist in the creation of pitch books, presentations, quarterly reports, investor letters, distribution notices, portfolio analytics, private placement memorandums, pitch books, fact sheets and fundraising letters.
• Improve upon the representation of analytics, metrics, and data utilized in presentations while supporting content creation and maintenance of critical data
• Support the team in building and maintaining relationships with both prospective and current investors. This includes, but is not limited to, providing Limited Partner communications, support for meetings and calls to present performance results and market updates to investors and prospects
• Coordinate prospective investor due diligence including on-site meetings, RFPs, and ad-hoc requests
• Interface with a diverse group within Hamilton Lane across various departments, including the Investment Team, Research, Reporting, Business Development, Legal and Senior Management

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS; Education and/or Experience:

• College degree (B.A., B.S. or B.B.A.)
• at least 2 years working experience
• Highly motivated and organized; detail-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize workload
• Proactively identify challenges and offer solutions
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications
