Description
At Corteva Agriscience, you will help us grow what's next. No matter your role, you will be part of a team that is building the future of agriculture - leading breakthroughs in the innovation and application of science and technology that will better the lives of people all over the world and fuel the progress of humankind.
The Product Development team is a part of the Farming Solutions & Digital group that designs and builds customer-facing digital solutions that maximize value for farmers and advisors. Our work helps fuel and expose Corteva's scientific innovation.
As the Head of Product Management for Corteva's Farming Solutions & Digital Product Development (FS&D PD) group, you will lead a team of product managers as they build software for farmers and their trusted advisors that exposes and fuels Corteva's R&D digital innovations. You will be a critical part of the FS&D PD leadership trio along with our Head of Engineering and Head of Design, reporting into the FS&D PD Leader. In addition to leading, coaching & developing the Product Management team, you will work with other senior leaders to help define and evolve the Product Development's team operating model, develop and communicate strategy and priorities, and represent Product Management with critical stakeholders throughout the FS&D and R&D org.
How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you!

  • Scale the Product Management team to meet the needs of the FS&D Product Development team and our customers, evolving the team as needed and ensuring operational excellence
  • Provide leadership, including Product Strategy, Strategic themes, and priorities to managers and leaders on the PM team
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering Leaders as a member of the PD Leadership Trio to shape strategy, operating model and organizational needs
  • Manageheadcount and staffing for the Product Management team, ensuring that we attract, nurture and retain top talent
  • Lead, drive, and empower a 'problem-first' approach to product development across Product Development and the broader FS&D org
  • Ensure the Product Management team is constantly and consistently collaborating and communicating with all stakeholders - TPM, Commercial, CS, R&D, etc.
  • Lead the overall team to have an 'end to end' mindset and approach - highlighting the users' overall experience in using the tools - to better understand where the gaps and friction lay in the users experience.
  • Embrace and expect the PM team to use market, customer, and usage data to make product decisions. Good product decisions are usually the result of pairing of quantitative and qualitative insights as a result of data
