Head of Growth Product Management

ROLE OVERVIEW
We're looking for a product leader who will help us drive growth in academic and industry usage of our cutting-edge scientific tools.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead our Growth product teams, owning the overall product strategy for Benchling’s academic products, including developing new products targeted toward our academic community
- Work with the team to dive into the ins and outs of our free-to-use academic offering, creating growth through viral loops & engagement efforts, building an academic community, and continuing to drive a better end-user experience.
- Connect with our users to understand how they’re using our product, and what we can do to make them more productive
- Develop and drive the growth product roadmap for Benchling across the Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams
- Partner with the Benchling Strategy and Marketing teams to drive an end-to-end product engagement strategy with academic and industry users
WHO YOU ARE
- Have 8+ years as a product leader working on growth in either B2B or B2C products, with at least 3 years of experience as a people manager
- A manager, coach, and mentor that has a proven track record of recruiting and building strong product teams
- Have a relentless obsession with building products that delight end-users with an intense desire to understand, question, and improve the experiences for users of software products
- Are data-driven, have experience with product growth techniques, and can identify new opportunities and provide sound reasoning for strategy decisions from that data
- A strong problem solver that can gather, prioritize, and drive execution on user and business requirements, turning them into successful product strategies
- Possess influential leadership and interpersonal skills that enable you to build strong relationships with users, your reports, company peers, and senior executives
- Are excellent at listening to others and articulating ideas in written and oral form
