Our Product team develops and leads features, interfaces and designs that set our applications apart. You drive strategy and development and your technical expertise will help our platform deliver the look, feel and function that redefines the way the world communicates.
As the Group Product Manager, Billing, you will have the day-to-day product management responsibility for the RingCentral SaaS Charging/Billing system. Collaborate with marketing, sales, finance, business partners, UX/UI, IT and engineering teams to define and prioritize the roadmap initiatives for the commerce solution. Create detailed requirements for engineering and create enablement collateral (such as use case presentations and feature notes) for the commerce solution. You will be able to synthesize both technical and business information and present implementation needs and options confidently.
Must-Have:
Ability to synthesize both technical and business information and present implementation needs and options expertly.
Help developing short, mid and long-term roadmaps to deliver features to help achieve the identified commerce related outcomes
Engage with multiple business partners to ensure requirements and stories are assembled
Help translate requirements and stories into Engineering specifications alongside development teams
Create compelling G2M and sales education material (e.g., feature descriptions, use case diagrams, white papers etc.)
Ability to collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to create compelling human centered design
Qualifications:
10+ years of product management / engineering / sales engineering experience in the domain of telco charging/billing solutions
Billing Systems and aspects of their integration with online services
Rich domain knowledge of global telecom service provider OSS/BSS systems and integrations
Integration with tax engines and payment gateways (including Tokenization)
In-depth understanding of technical and commercial Product Catalogs and Catalog Management systems
Experience of Billing System integration with CRM, ERP, RevRec and Ordering
Understanding of E-commerce billing & purchasing flows
Knowledge of Billing Process Automation Systems (BPA)
Experience with Salesforce CRM and CPQ system
Experience with Contract Life Cycle Management Systems (CLM)
Working knowledge of system integration using REST APIs
Nice-to-Have:
Wicked smart and have a strong bias for action and results
Knowledge of cloud voice, video, and messaging communication products
User-focused problem solver with ability to translate user feedback and usage data into requirements
Excellent written, oral, and presentation abilities
Capable of taking sophisticated issues and making them simple for customers and partners to understand
Track record of owning the entire product life cycle
Experience in SaaS and subscription-based licensing models
Experience in Agile Development Methodologies
Experience in working with remote teams
Have a good understanding of industry standard SaaS/ subscription management processes with a focus on enterprise grade, License Based Billing solutions
