Job Description Senior Product Manager, Marketplace - Digital Commercial Real Estate (CRE) - Commercial Bank

J.P. Morgan Chase is embarking on a mission to develop the next generation SaaS, Mobile App and Platform-as-a-service that transform the lives of renters, landlord and investors of multifamily housing in the U.S. commercial real estate industry. With our launch of Story by JPMC (our online community and property management solution), we are looking for a dynamic and passionate Product Manager to join our Ecosystem Platform & Co-Innovation Lab (EPIC Lab) to help us define and deliver our Story marketplace.
You will have the tremendous opportunity to create the best-in-class marketplace experience that drive growth while fostering a trusted & collaborative engagements among renters, landlords and investors with 3rd party solution providers to enable digital affordable housing and next-generation digital lifestyle living.

What you will do

  • Conducting industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in U.S. commercial real estate to identify new product partnership opportunities for Story marketplace
  • Create and maintain the marketplace vision, product plan and roadmap to seed and scale its operations with accountability for success from design through delivery
  • Identify strategic, high-value marketplace tooling and optimization opportunities through user research, analysis, and competitive insights to accelerate growth
  • Create product requirements, user stories, opportunity assessments, feature prioritization and business case justification
  • Manage all projects from user need state identification, kickoff, MVP and KPI definition, design, development, and launch
  • Define, analyze and track customer and product data for business impact, success metrics, adoption, seller engagement. Turn insights into actionable initiatives
  • Partner with other Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers, Data scientist and Operations to deliver a best-in-class marketplace for multi-family real estate management.
  • Communicate with product marketing, support and sales enablement teams on go to market strategies to drive successful rollout and adoption of new products and solutions.
  • Relay value proposition and conduct product demonstrations at variety of company, industry and high stakes customer meetings and events


What you will have:

  • You have a diverse skill set. You can create frameworks and think analytically, as well as work alongside creatives and think outside the box.
  • You have 3+ years of direct experience with lean third-party SaaS marketplace, eCommerce, or consumer-facing environment, ideally including leading teams responsible for seller and/or internal tools
  • You have engineering literacy, knows how to take take a product from idea to implementation.
  • You have exceptional understanding of UX design principles, responsive web and mobile experiences, information architecture, and Agile methodology
  • You have strong understanding of cloud software development, scrum agile development methodology, and use of common project management tools (e.g. Confluence/JIRA)
  • You think and act with a growth mindset, and can rationalize new ideas and measure their success through metrics and KPIs, and various quantitative and qualitative ways to unearth product opportunities, validate ideas quickly, with working knowledge of SQL
  • You have strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to leadership, business partners and engineering alike
  • You have experience driving results with remote teams digitally across multiple timezones


You'll sweep us off our feet if...

  • You have experience with API's, Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL
  • You have experience selling products online and/or growing a brand or selling account
  • You have strengths in data analysis, research or business intelligence
  • You have experience driving incremental lifetime value for do it yourself (DIY) customers through best in class UX from enrollment and onboarding to the successful completion of customer goals and achieving their "Aha!" moment
  • You have am understanding of common privacy and compliance laws and their application within a marketplace driven environment (CCPA, GDPR, etc.)
  • You have strong understanding of marketplace dynamics and the economic relationships between demand, supply and consumers
  • You can operates effectively and independently, even in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity
  • You have demonstratable track record of growth mindset
