We’re looking for a seasoned product leader to join a transformational organization to manage the product team and work closely with the Head of Vehicle Services. This is an opportunity to work with many teams across Lyft, and build the first intelligent and comprehensive consumer vehicle management platform - which is traditionally reserved for commercial fleets. 

Responsibilities:

  • Be the product leader driving our strategic product and technology vision for the product roadmap
  • Translate customer and internal user needs into clear, well-defined functional and technical requirements backed by data analysis and understanding of the team platform
  • Advocate for team needs needs and potential opportunities against company goals
  • Demand a customer-first approach and establish and communicate the customer experience
  • Be the ‘go-to’ leader for multiple teams to determine the vision, map the priorities and layout the tactical projects
  • Develop a customer-focused product roadmap with close collaboration with senior leadership, Business Operations, Data Science, Analytics, Design and Engineering
  • Guide and interface closely with data analysts and engineering teams to determine scope, review, and refine technical capabilities, prioritize projects for release, and determine new opportunities
  • Manage a team of product managers while providing development, mentorship, and excitement to exceed team and department goals

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years in product management or relevant experience in tech-related field
  • An academic background in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
  • Previous experience leading or building product for a single or dual sided or managed marketplaces
  • Experience partnering with with Business Operations, Finance, Business Leaders and Regional GMs to manage the improvement to profitability
  • Passion for Lyft and what we are trying to achieve in sustainable urban transportation
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing a team of product managers, as well as larger teams, while providing development, mentorship, and excitement to exceed team and department goals
