Director of Product Strategy

Responsibilities

· Identify and analyze new business opportunities in existing, adjacent, or new markets and businesses

· Self starter in regards to collecting, analyzing and sharing out insights on competitor strategies, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Always investigating and checking for insights.

· Develop a comprehensive set of competitive tools of engagement

· Analyze features, capabilities, and platforms at the technical/feature level

· Lead Anomali participation in industry standards efforts including MITRE and Oasis to influence standards development aligned with market informed product strategy

· Deliver high-quality insights to product and senior leadership that affect the product, technology, and feature decisions

· Engage with internal product teams, architects, and business leaders to inform on emerging technologies.

· Engage with our ecosystem partners and customers to understand their challenges building emerging requirements for the Anomali Platform.

· Attend industry conferences and provide reports on market trends and competitor developments

Qualifications

· 10+ experience in a technical product management role or proven success in a direct, technical pre sales role.

· Experience working with industry standards bodies like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST and others.

· Experience working in an agile environment, with the ability prioritize planned and unplanned projects based on value to the business, effort to achieve, and data available to measure success

· Demonstrated ability to manage across functions to synthesize market/competitive events into an Anomali response

· Passion for working with technical individuals and a proven ability to distill complex concepts into easy-to-understand creative assets

· Creative and analytical thinker, with a penchant for transforming chaos into order

· Strong security industry background with strong relationships.

· Knowledge of SaaS and IaaS infrastructure

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Strong writing and content development experience
