We are looking for a positive, flexible, and fearless Director, Product Strategy & Management Lead to join our dynamic Product team. You will have an opportunity to be the voice of our customers and product development. This person will work cross-functionally with other departments, create new product strategy, participate in new business development and product partnership discussions, and provide sales support and marketing support. What you'll do?

The Director, Product Strategy & Management Lead, is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a product portfolio tied to discrete business units or product / platforms. Responsibilities include market / customer evaluation, business case building, partnership assessment, and go to market strategy, as well as ongoing product evaluation and maintenance. You will also:

  • Have a thorough understanding of the evolving healthcare and telehealth market landscape so product strategies derive the maximum strategic and financial gain for MDLIVE Inc.
  • Maintain current competitive intelligence documentation to assist with MDLIVE positioning and differentiation
  • Lead the development and refreshing of the BU / platform product strategy and roadmap, leveraging market, client, and customer assessments, competitive analyses, industry trends, and business case evaluation
  • Work with Product Managers to ensure MDLIVE products deliver a solution that drives value for clients and customers, and meet core KPI / requirements
  • Support sales and client success teams with sales presentations, designated speaking engagements and other venues as assigned
  • Drive go-to-market activities for new solutions (via build or partnership)
  • Responsible for monitoring and improving product performance through product dashboard, reporting and other tools and methods
  • Develop and conduct sales trainings for partnership initiatives
  • Develop the corporate strategy on build/buy/partner and work closely with executive and product team to make data-driven decisions on best approach to meet market needs
  • Develop and adapt pricing models as needed to remain competitive
  • Develop relationships and agreements with channel partners to accelerate distribution
  • Create and maintain processes for defect triage, enhancement requests with relative prioritization, and roadmap development, gaining buy-in from all stakeholders in the process

What skills and experience do you bring?

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10-15+ years of relevant experience, Master's Degree desirable
  • 7+ years of product strategy, management and planning experience
  • Extensive healthcare industry knowledge
  • Strong analytical and product planning and management skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and simultaneously manage responsibilities and assignments
  • Working in a fast-paced environment that is highly entrepreneurial and results driven
  • Self-starter who can operate with limited guidance but knows when to ask for help
  • Deadline-driven to always deliver analyses, insights, and results on-time
  • Intellectual curiosity, relentless push for underlying insights and "why" to complex questions
  • Excellent analytical skills (problem structuring and problem solving)
  • Excellent ability to create logic-driven, data-backed recommendations with an eye towards pithiness; excellent written and oral communication skills; PowerPoint mastery
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and manage complex projects
  • Positive attitude and proven team player
  • Fearless to take on new responsibilities or try something new
