Job Description
Role
Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Product and Platform Operations, the person in this role will be part of a team that supports the Chief Product and Engineering Officer in driving strategy and operational excellence within our Product, Design, and Technology organization as well as strong alignment with the ServiceNow Go to Market organizations.
In this role you will work on highly complex opportunities and help the executive team to organize, prioritize and execute their strategic agenda. The visibility and exposure of this role is rare, and the candidate will develop a deep strategic understanding of the ServiceNow business and its full product suite. This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional, providing an opportunity for the right candidate to establish strong relationships with a broad set of leaders across ServiceNow.
Preferred candidates will have not only several years of top-tier management consulting experience, but also considerable strategy or operating experience within Enterprise Software.
What you get to do in this role:
· Work on critical cross-product strategy and operational improvement initiatives for the Chief Product and Engineering Officer. Work cross functionally to structure problems, develop hypotheses, conduct analyses to turn data into meaningful insights, and drive actionable recommendations / results through a rigorous, data-driven process. Example projects include identifying opportunities for improving customer deployment of ServiceNow product suites or partnering with the pricing team on cross-product SKU and pricing recommendations
· Partner with the sales, marketing, customer success and expert services teams to identify and execute on opportunities for greater alignment, coordination and synergies
· Be part of shaping Product and Platform’s strategic priorities by helping to lead 3 year and 1 year strategy and budget planning rhythms
·Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements to unlock productivity and accelerate execution
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
·10+ years of work experience (or 3+ years post-MBA or equivalent higher-degree), preferably in management consulting, tech strategy/ops function or similar. Preferred candidates will have a combination of consulting and operating experience
·Experience working on large strategic initiatives from framing the problem, conducting research / analysis, building business and operational plans to driving execution through to success
·Effective and mature communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing; comfortable in business and technical discussions
·Effective at building relationships, collaborating, and influencing others; experience working with senior executives across various geographies and functions
·Sharp business judgment, ability to see "big picture" and to prioritize
·Ability to manage change and ambiguity with an action-orientation/drive – must thrive in a dynamic environment
· High energy, strong work ethic, disciplined execution skills
·Expertise in the enterprise software/ SaaS industry a plus
