About The Role

Highspot is hiring a Director of Product Management Operations, reporting to the VP of Product Management. This highly visible role provides an opportunity to make an impact on the growth of a well-funded and rapidly growing company. This role will be a core contributor to the success of the Product, Process, and People within the Product Management team.


You will drive success in Product Management by seeing the big picture and being a champion for the customer and business outcomes. You will drive alignment and accountability such that teams deliver tremendous value leveraging customer data and insight across the company. 


You will drive success in Process with effective common tools and best practices to increase the odds of success and reduce administrative overhead on the Product teams. You will collaborate with the rest of the Product organization to ensure a cadence of communication across Product, Engineering, Design, and all disciplines so that planning, progress, results, and feedback are customer-focused, data-driven, transparent, and consistent.


You will drive success in People by keeping a pulse on the health and satisfaction of the Product Management organization using feedback sessions, and tools to measure team satisfaction and look to invest in their growth and development.

What You’ll Do

  • You will develop an in-depth understanding of the sales cycle and how Highspot develops products
  • You will partner with the VP of Product Management to explore nascent high-impact opportunities and help shape and execute the strategic vision by partnering with fellow Product Management leaders. 
  • You will manage Product Management processes including intake, setting priorities, and work collaboratively to get better cross-functional alignment, including with Engineering, Design, QA, TPM, Go-To-Market teams, Services, and other stakeholders. 
  • You will manage the cadence of communications including sync and weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings to drive alignment, input, and understanding across Product Management teams, senior management, and stakeholders.
  • Your team will own the operational management and analysis of user feedback to measure user insights so quantitative and qualitative learnings are easily accessible across Product Management teams
  • You will provide motivational leadership and collect and analyze feedback from within and outside the Product Management organization to ensure the health and growth of its members
  • You will also partner to develop and execute on Learning and Development opportunities specific to growing the Product Management discipline.
  • You will partner with the VP of Product Management to plan and manage the budget and financial spending of the Product Management team. 
  • You will lead, build, and develop a high-performing Product Management operations team that delivers at a high standard and earns the trust of its stakeholders.

Your Background

  • This is a senior-level position. You have been building software products in large organizations for some time and have 10+ years of experience shipping products in an agile / scrum/kanban environment. 
  • You are a strategic thinker, able to see the big picture but also able to dive into the tactical details of a variety of technical projects
  • You are experienced in leading and influencing teams cross-functionally, particularly with Engineering, Design, QA, TPM but also with Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service
  • You are a customer champion, always the person in the room asking how something impacts the customer or what customer problem is being solved 
  • You are data-driven and experienced with quantitative analytics and qualitative user research
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and can quickly adapt to changes
  • You have fostered teams and have a passion for mentoring and growing people.
