Salesforce is seeking an experienced Director of Product Management to join our team to help build the technology to secure our public cloud infrastructure. The role is part of the threat detection and response team focused on building systems for detecting malicious attacks against Salesforce, understanding the impact, and taking actions to remediate security incidents. We are looking for someone with a track record of expanding or building services from the ground up in any first party or Public Cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for building and extending new threat detection and response capabilities in our various public cloud environments including first party and public clouds.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product strategy, goals, and business cases / justification
  • Develop and drive the product roadmap and critical capabilities from concept to customer.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and prototypes
  • Work with all stakeholders appropriate to our area to understand problems, desired outcomes, and craft a solution.
  • Serve as a product owner on the scrum team(s), manage backlog, set priorities, identify risks, and work with engineers to deliver a quality product on time.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to establish success criteria, deliver roadmap updates, get product feedback, and identify additional challenges and opportunities.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of Product Management or similar experience.
  • Specialization in securing applications in public cloud
  • Top-notch written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, and handling sensitive customer escalations.
  • Experience delivering products or services in an agile/lean environment.
  • Experience working cross functionally, aligning leaders on objectives and influencing decision making to achieve these objectives
  • Exceptional program management skills
  • Proven experience in capturing and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap.
  • Strong user experience/design sense, with a record of building great products.
