Our growing team is looking for a Director, Product Management to drive the strategy, roadmap and delivery of features across a group of integration and API teams for our partners, customers and development ecosystem. In collaboration with our Vice President, Product Management, you will own the vision, definition and delivery of our Platform, APIs and Integrations marketplace and will be a key driver in our technical partner strategy. With over 3,000 customers and a robust partner network, your actions and contributions will have a far-reaching impact on our multi-product business.

You’ll manage and mentor a team of Product Managers and Product Owners while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams that include UX Design, Software Development, Product Marketing, and Technology Partner Managers.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a scalable Platform, API and Integration product strategy and roadmap with measurable goals, working closely with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams to execute our platform roadmap
  • Evaluate and elevate partnerships; work with our Partner Managers to qualify the technical partnerships we want to proactively pursue in order to maximize the value we deliver to our customers
  • Analyze data and developer, partner as well as customer feedback to understand product needs, reduce time to onboard and build on our platform as well as improve overall customer experience
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to influence our product strategy, ensuring the business makes informed decisions
  • Facilitate ideation, development and delivery of new products and enhancements 
  • Identify and drive process improvements throughout our Product Team that support increasing consistency, efficiency, and clarity 
  • Gather customer needs and feedback through frequent research and feedback loops
  • Conduct analyses of growth, adoption, engagement and retention to inform, measure and iterate on product advancements
  • Help synthesize research, analysis, design and stakeholder feedback into detailed product requirements
  • Drive your teams to deliver a healthy and efficient cadence of product releases 
  • Consistently deliver against success metrics and quantitative outcomes 
  • Partner cross-functionality with Development, Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success and Support to align and execute product strategies, ensuring each department receives the right level of support
  • Build and strengthen relationships across our business and ensure alignment with GTM and operational teams
  • Directly manage and mentor a small team of Product Managers and Product Owners, providing regular coaching, guidance and feedback 

Your First 90 Days

In your First 30 Days

  • Understand Unanet from the lens of current product capabilities and what is expected to be delivered in the coming quarters
  • Work with your team to understand and align on requirements, ensuring we’re prioritizing and solving the right problems
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and help them understand the direction we are going in and why
  • Work with our Agile Coach, UX Lead and Tech and Team Leads to better understand your team’s strengths and opportunities

In your First 60 Days

  • Assess the purpose and value of having a strategy centered around specific customer challenges and use that knowledge to understand and provide input on deliverables for our future roadmaps
  • Empowered by what you’ve learned, work with our Vice President, Product Management to question, redefine, and revalidate the roadmap for the next year
  • Working with your teams, further research, define, and validate those deliverables

In your First 90 Days

  • Work with operational teams within the business on our Go-To-Market plan
  • Evangelize the roadmap, build customer relationships, and help define success metrics for adoption and engagement
  • Be the guiding light for your team, introducing best practices as they execute on defined roadmap deliverables 

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of B2B software product management experience in an Agile environment
  • 3+ years of leading product strategy and product direction for API and/or Integrations team(s)
  • 2+ years of directly managing and growing a team of Product Managers and/or Product Owners
  • Attitude that encourages collaboration, self-organization, accountability, and a drive to deliver high-quality products
  • Ability to identify gaps, program risks and proactively address them
  • Strong technical writing and visualization skills
  • Strong execution and product delivery skills, including ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work and communicate cross-functionally and remotely
  • Bachelor's degree
