Security services are at the heart of what we do at Arctic Wolf Networks. It is our responsibility to secure our customers’ most critical assets and we take this very seriously. The Product Owner, Security Operations Platform will play a key role in working with security engineers and development to build and extend our own security operations platform.

Role Description

Our Concierge Delivery Model is a differentiator in the CyberSecurity market and we're looking to evolve the tooling and support for our experts delivering this value to our customers. As the Director, Product Management for Concierge you will refine and evangelize the product roadmap while driving cross-functional alignment via detailed requirements and prioritized development. You will support your customers, our internal Security Services team, and deliver margin enhancing product and service value that allows us to scale our service globally. You have a keen eye for data and know that following the data is the life-blood of effective concierge service and ultimately delivering the outcomes that help our customers end cyber risk.

Primary Responsibilities

Work closely with leadership, customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to gather and analyze business problems, requirements, and use cases and define initiatives and themes aligned to business goals. 

Work with leadership and other Product Managers to develop and maintain a 3-12 month comprehensive and prioritized roadmap supported by market intelligence and competitive analysis that is aligned with product and service objectives.

Work with other Product Managers, Product Owners and UX to refine inputs (business problems, requirements, and use cases) into initiatives and themes as well as actionable product requirements (projects, epics, user stories). 

Guide Product Managers and Product Owners in effective backlog grooming and prioritization activities to align work with group and business goals and objectives.

Capture, document, and communicate detailed initiative and theme objectives and high-level solution components and priorities with and to leadership and other stakeholders.

With Product Program Management, work closely with Marketing, Finance, Legal, and customer facing functions (e.g. Security Services; Pre-Sales, Sales, Customer Success) to support the launch of product features, products, and services.

Supervise and mentor a team of Product Managers and/or Product Owners providing day to day guidance and support, ongoing performance feedback, career development planning, goal and objective setting and execution, skills development, and overall growth.

Build collaborative relationships with other teams and stakeholders within the organization.

Is dedicated to and with guidance can direct a team in meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for defining and executing on products, services, themes, and initiatives; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.

Exceptional overall communication skills all the way through and outside the organization up to the C-level.

Keen understanding of various aspects of the business and exceptional understanding of translating strategic goals into operational tactics.

Understanding of full-life cycle product and portfolio management with a special focus on product definition, development, and delivery.

Contributes to and often champions the development of departmental goals and objectives and often contributes to organizational goals. Informally coaches lower-level people leaders within the function and may have a formal mentorship responsibility.

Proficient in managing people, defining functional and individual goals and objectives, coaching and mentoring, and performance feedback.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years' related experience in a Sr. Product Management and/or leadership role. Experience with Cybersecurity operations and/or cybersecurity domain expertise is a strong plus.
  • Experience in defining roadmaps and technical requirements, especially for multiple teams
  • Accomplished in product management skills (time management, agile processes, data analysis, project leadership, stakeholder management, authoring documentation and specifications)
  • Experience leading technical teams and managing product owners
  • Excited to work in a fast paced, high-growth environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both technical and non-technical

Security Requirements:

  • Conducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with AWN’s Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of AWN business information.
  • Background checks are required for this position
