About the team:
As a Platform Product Owner Lead with the Digital Banking product team, you will be a leader in an exciting and dynamic environment at the intersection of technology and banking. You'll lead a team of product owners who are passionate about and take a client-first approach to everything they do.
The Digital Banking product team manages the day-to-day and strategic direction for FIS's Digital One portfolio of products which provide digital experiences and services to small and mid-tier banks across the U.S. The portfolio includes online and mobile banking apps, digital account opening, artificial intelligence-enabled data analytic capabilities and next-generation digital engagement tools including chat, video conference and document collaboration.
What you bring:

  • You have 3-5 years of agile product owner experience, including experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • You have 2+ years of people management experience
  • You will be both strategic and tactical in ways of developing features, understanding how they fit into the larger product suite.
  • You are a self-starter, need little direction and takes own initiatives
  • You have excellent communication skills both verbal and written as well as strong presentation skills within a group or large audience


What you will be doing
As the Digital One Platform Product Owner Lead, you will lead a team who is responsible for the development and maintenance for features that power the entire Digital One suite of products - including identity management, security and authentication, data and analytics, and integrations as a service.
Specifically, your team will be directly involved in:

  • Managing the rollout and ongoing enhancements to a unified identity and user authentication solution that will power omni-channel experiences across the product suite
  • Integrating best-of-bread security management features such as biometrics, behavioral analytics, and fingerprinting
  • Implementing a data and analytics strategy across the suite combining transactional data with user analytical data into a single, internal and client facing solution


You will also:

  • Manage of a team of product owners, including setting objectives, measuring progress, and engaging in ongoing performance discussions
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achieved.
  • Champion agile methods and processes with your team to promote a disciplined project management process that encourages frequent inspection and adaptation of ongoing work product.
  • Collaborate with other Product Owner Leads to establish and maintain consistent definitions of user story acceptance criteria, accepts user stories, refines stories with Scrum teams.
  • Monitors the development progress and provide summarized updates to stakeholders, and senior management
