The Boeing AvionX organization is seeking a Product Line Configuration Management Analyst to join our team in either Plano, Texas, Berkeley, Missouri, Hazelwood, Missouri, Long Beach, California, Huntsville, Alabama, or Mesa, Arizona to support AvionX product lines.
This is an excellent development opportunity for someone seeking a career path in Engineering Product Lifecycle Management. This role regularly interfaces with Configuration Management Lead and engineers to deliver high quality avionics solutions to various programs across the Boeing enterprise.
As a member on the Boeing AvionX Development Team, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of configuration management. You will team with the Configuration Management Lead and engineering development team on a daily basis following the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) for the entire project.
This role is ideal for those who enjoy working on a variety of systems and products. Our customers vary across both the military and commercial industry. Most of your time will be focused on a flight/safety critical product that will be implemented on various UAVs, eVTOL vehicles, fixed-wing vehicles, and rotor-craft vehicles, and weapons.
This role allows for Telecommuting / Virtual / Remote work. The candidate must be located near a Boeing site for any necessary on-site support services. Candidate may be required to be on-site to support business needs. Some travel will be required (estimated 10%) to St. Louis and other primary sites supporting development efforts.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of the Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
  • Support the execution of process and procedures for configuration management.
  • Communication of status to the Product Line Configuration Management Lead.
  • Works under minimal direction.


This position allows some telecommuting; however onsite work will be required at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience with Configuration Management operations and execution
  • 1+ years of experience with configuration management tools (e.g., 3Dx Enovia, Alfresco, Confluence, JIRA, Collaborator Smartbear)
  • 1+ years of experience participating in Engineering CCB (Change Control Board)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with configuration management tools (e.g., 3Dx Enovia, Alfresco, Confluence, JIRA, Collaborator Smartbear)
  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance
  • Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Critical/Adaptive Thinking


Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
