Associate Product Security Analyst
The Role
We are seeking an entry-level Associate Product Security Analyst to join our evening shift team. The successful candidate will assist with audits, complete security assessments received from existing or prospective customers, and ensure our company's products and services are secure. In this role you will:
- Assist with security audits of our products and services to ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
- Conduct security assessments received from existing or prospective customers to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Work closely with the IT and Cyber teams to ensure security issues are addressed accordingly.
- Collaborate with the security team to improve the company's overall security posture.
- Maintain a good understanding of PaaS and SaaS models and how they impact our products and services.
- Assist in maintaining and updating security policies and procedures.
- Supports IT teams and end users in resolution of information security and antivirus issues.
- Communicate with customers, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to resolve security issues and answer any security-related questions.
- Manage and maintain Fusion's cybersecurity training program.
- Work onsite and remotely, as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 1-2 years of experience in working with third-party assessments and security audits.
- Security Plus certification is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Good understanding of security concepts, protocols, and best practices.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work onsite and remotely, as needed.
