As an Associate Product Manager, you support the Product Management team, building product objectives and roadmaps. You will lead execution teams in bringing compelling, viable solutions to fruition.

Key Areas of Focus

  • Work with the PM team to succeed for your product and implement mechanisms to accurately measure and accurately inform its in-market performance and future functionality.
  • Assist in optimizing the development roadmap, ensuring the plan reflects reality. Be resourceful and identify and remove roadblocks to achieve timely product delivery.
  • Collaborate multi-functionally to enable Sonatype to build, sell, market, and support products focused on solving the highest value (urgent, pervasive, and salable) problems elegantly and innovatively.
  • Develop personal expertise in the craft of product management, and explore new tools and techniques for work prioritization.

Experiences and skills you will need

  • 1-3 years of experience in roles that had exposure to the product development lifecycle and exposure to modern software development techniques.
  • Affinity for understanding and solving complex problems and experience working with Product Managers
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is helpful
  • Experience working with a software product company is a major plus
