Amplify Learning is seeking a passionate Associate Product Manager that will help grow our innovative educational products. Specifically, this person will be dedicated to supporting the development of our internal content products that enable content authoring, asset management, and publishing. The Associate Product Manager works alongside the Director of Product Management and Director of Digital Production to help build and execute against the Content Services roadmap.
The ideal candidate is passionate about digital content and building high quality content products and services that result in a magical experience for customers. We are looking for someone excited about contributing to the Content Services team in a way that empowers teachers and students across the country.
What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with key partners to determine software requirements, system impacts, and gain consensus to develop business requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with internal key partners and users to validate business needs
  • Facilitate workshops and manage relationships with a diverse group of key partners
  • Coordinate requirements across cross-functional teams to define the user experience with special attention to similarities and differences in curriculum requirements
  • Ensure requirements focus on building scalable and future-proofed systems
  • Define Product roadmap
  • Translate product needs into user stories
  • Partner with engineers to drive alignment on the above interests and ensure the development of key outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Director of Product Management and Digital Production to determine release goals and features
  • Serve as the subject matter authority of the content systems, including its features and functionality, user experience, and connections to other parts of the platform.
  • Support the creation of user-facing training materials for our content services products and deliver training to users
  • Provide support to users during content production

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment
  • Experience using Content Management Systems and Digital Asset Management tools
  • Excellent verbal, written & presentation communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade offs, and evaluate requests with key partners, prioritizing conflicting requests
  • Proven success working cross-functionally to deliver products/services


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in technology, design, user experience and product development
  • Experience with migration projects
  • Experience working with large volumes of content
  • Experience working in the Education or Ed Tech field
  • Client service experience either in consulting or another field
  • Experience creating and delivering training
  • Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and working with development teams
