About the Role

As an Associate Manager on the Operations Process Improvement team, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Systems and Product Strategy pillar for the group. You will work in close partnership with the engineering, UX, algorithms and warehouse teams to help develop and maintain a short, mid, and long term roadmap for our warehouse operating systems. You will need fantastic organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for process improvement and thinking outside the box. It’s your role to help create a seamless product development process and create a sound path of your vision. You will inspire innovation at the forefront of cutting edge automation technology and warehouse systems. This will require you to think big and be comfortable challenging convention to reinvent the way we operate.

  • Support the ideation, technical development, and launch of products for our warehouse systems.
  • Prioritize process improvement opportunities to support organizational priorities and drive foundational investments in warehouse systems.
  • Through effective communication and influence, secure cross-functional and leadership alignment on the warehouse systems vision and roadmap.
  • Work side by side with end users to assess new product deployment and system changes.
  • Understand intricacies of the backend systems and user processes to determine how system changes will impact the functions of the warehouses.
  • Conduct the required fact gathering and quantitative and qualitative data analysis to document, quantify, and specify process re-engineering efforts.
  • Guide a senior engineering team to develop user friendly solutions for our functional areas.
  • Support complex integrations and relationships with third-party technology, transportation carrier and automation vendors. 
  • Drive timelines using indirect management skills.
  • Assist in defining and analyzing metrics that inform our company of the success or shortcomings of new products and projects.
  • Champion and embody the Stitch Fix culture, mission and values.

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 years work experience including, product/project management and 2+ years warehousing/operations experience
  • You are a strategic problem solver with the proven ability to structure a data and research driven approach to complex business problems
  • You have strong communication skills and are able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing
  • You have a bias for action and are able to execute flawlessly.You take ownership, are an inventive problem solver, and have a high level of accountability. 
  • You are a focused, organized, and results-driven individual with the ability to drive a diverse set of cross-functional partners towards a set of defined goal
  • You are able to manage multiple tasks, strategic and tactical, with high attention to detail in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
