Role/Department Description:
Do you love solving complex problems or building elegant solutions? FactSet is seeking driven individuals with a passion for working with our Analytics suite to join the Americas Analytics Product Specialist team. Analytics Product Specialists are a team of subject matter experts, combining product and industry knowledge to help ensure customer success. Responsibilities include support escalation, implementations, solutions re-engineering and optimization, internal training, thought leadership, and regional business growth.
Our department seeks candidates that possess exceptional technical skills as well as the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to clients of varying levels of sophistication. We seek someone who is enthusiastic, intellectually curious, and takes pride in the work they do. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and commercial awareness are essential.
  • Retention efforts focused on both reactive and proactive analytics support work.
  • Execution on project-based engagements such as analytics implementations, solutions optimizations and other time and knowledge intensive projects to create a better user experience and/or enable sales opportunities.
  • Act as technical subject matter expert in our solutions and develop in-depth knowledge of our product suite.
  • Effectively communicate with our most sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their current applications in the industry.
  • Collaborate, train, and support internal stakeholders, including Generalist Sales, Specialty Sales, Client Consulting, and Client User Support teams.
  • Organize and relay client feedback to Product Development.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the finance industry, current market trends and economic factors to maintain a competitive edge and form client solutions strategies.

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of FactSet's Analytics Solutions and the financial industry preferred
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm, strong sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership
  • Proficiency with, or a desire to learn Python
  • Willingness to travel
