About the job
The Red Hat Products and Technologies Business Insights team is looking for an Analytics Product Manager to join our team. In this role you will provide leadership and oversight in the development of analytical products that monitor, predict, and measure business performance. You will lead the development of product strategies and roadmaps and serve as the key contact for delivery to business users. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Translate business problems into data requirements and analytics offerings
  • Accountable for building internal analytics products that turn raw data into actionable insights
  • Document use cases and internal stakeholders, gathers requirements, sets formal roadmaps, and manages relationships with other teams jointly working on that internal product
  • Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts and facilitate product development
  • Deliver offerings to stakeholders by training users, creating documentation, communications, and promoting, e.g., roadshows, newsletters, etc.
  • Provide strategic oversight and manage the overall end-to-end life cycle of the analytics offerings


What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a quantitative field; master's degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of related professional experience
  • Ability to develop and maintain good relations and communicate with associates at all levels
  • Advanced analytical skills, preferably with background in or exposure to data science
  • Ability to reconcile technical and business perspectives
  • Coachable, energetic, detail-oriented; focused and diligent on delivering results
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service, interpersonal, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SQL or Python and Tableau development is a plus
