About Global Private Bank Product Office
The Global Private Bank's Product Office is an internal strategy team of agile professionals, lean product managers, design thinkers and technologists that provide strategic consulting services, training and support to the senior leadership, product management and technology delivery teams within the Global Private Bank. The team will be responsible for helping over 90 unique products and 150+ delivery teams live the agile manifesto and embrace the transition to a Product Operating Model.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
The Agile Transformation VP for the Global Private Bank (GPB) Product Office will be responsible for coordinating the roll-out of our agile transformation, known as the Product Operating Model, to a large product organization. You will join a team of change agents tasked to collaborate with product management and software development teams to realize productivity and maturity of the Product Operating Model. You will be responsible for prioritizing the backlog for the Product Office to deliver product management related support services such as training, tooling, metrics, and product structure and design advice. You will collaborate with partners across the GPB product organizations, Technology, Operations, HR and Finance to align the overall GPB operating model to the product operating model. The Agile Transformation VP will likely spend 50% of their time managing the Product Office backlog, 25% of their time on strategic Product Structure and Advisory work, and the final 25% of their time on Agile coaching and working with teams going through the transformation.
The right hire:

  • Understands and can communicate the Product Office's vision, roadmap and objectives, and effectively uses them to set priorities in the backlog and with product teams
  • Thinks proactively to identify new opportunities and optimise existing solutions related to our agile transformation
  • Effectively coaches and inspires multiple teams to realise the product vision, roadmap and objectives
  • Demonstrates and champions agility mind-sets


  • Makes decisions which influence the success of product objectives
  • Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders who have diverse objectives
  • Builds trusted and respected relationships with peers and senior leaders
  • Leads on customer collaboration throughout all stages of work. Ensures customer needs are consistently met


Qualifications:

  • 3+ yeas of experience in leading strategic organizational change and/or agile transformation
  • 7-10+ years of industry experience in either product management, program management or agile
  • Experience building a strategy and roadmap across a large, diverse, global organization.
  • Extensive experience managing the detailed delivery of organizational change - prioritization, training, communication, and execution
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills. Ability to crisply articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences with poise and confidence.
  • Ability to prioritize projects, say 'no' when required, and ensure our organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change that meets our goals.
  • Expertise in product backlog management and refinement techniques
  • Ability to influence a cross functional team to obtain desired results
  • Innovative team player with strong analytical problem solving, crisis management, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership skills - of product, programs, projects, teams and employees - with ability to coach and develop junior members of the team.
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to remain calm under intense pressure.
