ABOUT THE TEAM:
FIS is looking for an Agile Product Owner to join our Code Connect team in Orlando, FL, St. Petersburg, FL or Milwaukee, WI. This position will work with development teams utilizing Agile software development principles to create and deliver software applications that meet business, client, and company goals.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
You will be leveraging your expert Agile knowledge to guide development teams, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritize the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of priorities. This role requires a strong and organized communicator. The primary role of this Agile Product Owner is to be the link between the Business, Product and Development teams.

  • API development tooling
  • API reviews, standards and governance
  • API business framework enablement
  • Technical Product Owner working on feature development and code implementation on the front-end web applications, back-end API services, API portal and API gateway capabilities.
  • Working with Product Team and Development Team to help break down requirements
  • Manage and refining backlog; manage dependencies
  • Attend Agile ceremonies, support UAT, demos and production proving activities
  • Interact with internal stakeholders and be the voice of the customer
  • Significant level of analysis is also required.


WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated Experience as a Product Owner utilizing Agile methodologies (preferable SAFe but not essential). In addition, you will have:
Agile Skills

  • Document user perspective, experience in gathering and articulating customer oriented needs in Agile/SAFe way
  • Communicates, prioritizes, and documents product user stories
  • Leads user story mapping
  • Breaks project up into epics and implementable user stories
  • Define acceptance criteria for the stories


Marketplace Skills

  • Understand user management, partner integrations, content management, for a User Portal.
  • The ability to communicate requirements clearly to Development team
  • The ability to gather and analyze relevant information from stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, for product demos
  • You are looking to join our team and build a long-term career with FIS

ADDED BONUS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in the Payment Processing industry
  • Technology/Development background
  • Experienced in designing, developing and deploying RESTful APIs
  • Experience developing with Java/J2EE, XSLT, Swagger 2.0/OAS 3.0, REST/JSON, SOAP/XML
  • Exposure to Microservices architecture using Spring Integration framework
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting REST APIs and SOAP Webservices
  • Experience with tools like SOAP/UI, POSTMAN, WIREMOCK, Service Virtualization tools, SPLUNK, Jenkins, Bitbucket
  • Understanding of Banking and Payment products
  • Experience working with external clients and 3rd party vendor integrations
  • Working knowledge on API Gateway, API Marketplace, OAUTH security framework
