Job Description As part of delivering and driving our organizations Network Observability Strategy we are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Manager/Agile Product Owner who can help build intelligent observability, event driven correlation tools and products to support our NetOps Tools Organization driving modernization in Network Telemetry, Observability, Instrumentation and Correlation goals. In this role our candidate will partner with our customers and stakeholders to identify their needs and align them with the overall observability goals, aligned to the modern architecture standards set for the organization.
This role will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to define product organization scope and responsibilities
  • Partner closely with Technology and Engineering leads to accelerate hiring and team development
  • Collaborate with other product lines, network operations and Architecture and Engineering teams to align with overall strategy and avoid duplication of efforts
  • Manages and refines product backlog items to drive value in accordance with business stakeholder priorities
  • Execute business and technical requirement analysis, definition and JIRA management
  • Partner with agile lead to adopt and continually improve agile practices
  • Help to accelerate tech modernization efforts
  • Helps remove impediments for the team
  • Manage key relationships and communications with stakeholders and vendors including to senior executives
  • Participate and facilitate meetings as required
  • Act as a strategic partner to product managers across the team

Experience and requirements

  • 12+ years of building telemetry and observability products focused on network management or project management or relevant experience
    • Expertise in correlations of telemetry and topology to enable AIOps and predictive alerting
    • Expertise in Event/Data Driven Automation Ecosystems for large scale enterprises
    • Expertise in modeling & integrating infrastructure telemetry into aligned Observability Dashboard Ecosystem
    • Platform systems and operations for large scale enterprises
  • Agile product development techniques and practices
  • Ability to map business processes and identify requirements from those processes
  • Experience in defining and building out product roadmap and business models
  • Experience managing high-performing teams and supporting a culture that attracts, retains and develops top talent
  • Respects, values and promotes diversity and inclusion
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills
  • Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team
  • Effective written and verbal communicator with excellent reasoning, organizational and presentation skills to both technical and product audiences, including senior executives
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and with JIRA
    High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters.
