Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in go-to-market, business development, or product specialist work, engaging with external and internal partners.
  • Experience in a consulting, strategy, operations, project management, and/or a related role.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.



Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in AdMob, Google Ad Manager, or AdSense.
  • Experience with partnerships.
  • Experience and interest in the ad technology industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in ambiguous and complex environments.
  • Strong analytical skills to thrive in data-driven environment.



About the job

As the Ad Manager Product Specialist, you will commercialize product features to grow adoption with partners in Account Management Service (AMS) and launch/lead key programs to engage with partners. You will be seen as the product expert for our core Ad Manager features for our AMS Partnerships teams and empowers Partnerships teams by providing product training, ongoing updates, and support for partner engagements. You will act as a strategic thought partner for Product teams in developing new features by sharing partner feedback and needs as they evolve.

We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Be the product expert for external partners, and the market expert for internal partners.
  • Engage with partners and attend external partner meetings as the Ad Manager, AdMob, and AdSense product expert to contribute to pitches.
  • Equip Partnership teams to deliver product trainings/updates, collaborate with Partnerships teams to craft and execute partner engagement strategy, and translate technical product speak into benefits for users, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Work with internal teams (e.g., Product, Global Solutions, Large Partner Solutions, gTech) in collaboration to contribute to product development, advocate for partners' needs, and generally get things done, while setting goals for product adoption, and working to deliver those results and aggregate user feedback to create prioritized business cases and influence the product roadmap.
  • Cultivate expert knowledge of key Google products, the digital ecosystems, publisher industries, and ad technology.
