Position Description:
Position description Summary MISSION : The Product Manager- BI is responsible for ensuring the success of digital products by defining a clear vision, prioritizing theproduct backlog, and collaborating with stakeholders and development teams to deliver value-added solutions.
He/she continuously maximizes product value through monitoring, iterative development, and a focus on user experience and business objectives.
As an expert of the digital product, he/he insures product success. He/she is the ultimate decision maker on what should be done regarding the products he manages.
He/She will have to interface with the Business owner in Europe and different RDI SC Managers, stakeholders in Europe, North America, China, Japan, Thailand. Co-ordination with the IT project team in India to manage the planning and deliver of the digital solution
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
Secure annual budget in coordination with the Business Owner.
The product roadmap is developed and maintained, aligned with strategic objectives.
User issues and usage patterns are analyzed and translated into product iterations.
The product backlog is prioritized and refined to maximize value delivery.
Stakeholder expectations are managed through proactive communication.
Product deployments (including releases) are planned, coordinated, and successfully executed.
Product performance and user feedback are continuously analyzed.
Relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are consulted.
Collaborate with the Business Champion to capture digital needs and validate checklists for new digital solutions.
Validate digital solutions with the Lead Process Engineer (Europe) to support GO/NO-GO decisions for process alignment.
Based on the readiness of Data and maturity , Validate the decision of commencement of Digital solution with Data Steward for the GO/NO GO decision
Organize and lead Steering committee meetings to prioritize the BI needs, assess business value, and support in decision making of the Steering committee members
Assign appropriate development responsibilities within the global network of Citizen, Central, and Professional Developers.
Oversee deployment and success measurement of digital solutions through well-defined KPIs.
Monitor BI tool usage, plan change management actions, and organize user training
Manage the entire product lifecycle — from phase-in to phase-out — in coordination with different stakeholders
Ensure harmonization and standardization rules are applied before solution development, driving consistency across tools and processes.
Integrate and prioritize Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) within the product backlog to ensure solution robustness.
