Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager to play an integral role in shaping the marketing strategy for Kantar Marketplace. The Product Marketing Manager, Kantar Marketplace will support go to market planning and champion the commercial success of the Kantar Marketplace platform and products. This is a highly collaborative team where individuals have strong ownership and can make a big impact on the business. You will work in close collaboration with Product Management, Business Development, Market Activation and Global Marketing, as well as the extended in-country Marketing teams. In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager Product Marketing, Kantar Marketplace.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Become an expert on our buyers and users - who they are, what are their paint points and their key buying criteria.

  • Understand the competitive landscape. Stay abreast of industry news, know the competition inside and out, and be familiar with how other platforms are positioned. Gather and package competitive intelligence for local commercial teams to support successful selling.

  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning for products and features that clearly communicates our USPs. Drive messaging consistency across channels and markets.

  • Play an integral role in product launches, working closely with Product Management to understand client benefits and use cases. Ensure go-to-market is aligned around driving adoption and revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with the extended team to plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand for Kantar Marketplace.

  • Create marketing content, including web copy, blog posts, white papers, case studies and other marketing materials, working with vendors and internal stakeholders as needed to execute effectively. Write and edit copy for both the website and in-product messaging.

  • Work with Market Activation and Business Development to develop sales enablement materials and facilitate training.

  • Develop the data-driven insights needed to improve messaging, marketing campaigns, sales enablement materials and sales processes, working closely with Business Development, Market Activation, Client Leadership and Client Success - both globally and in-market.

  • Act as the voice of the customer, share insights and key learnings from marketing activities with the broader business, teaming closely with Product Management to influence the product roadmap.

Key Outcomes:

  • Establish Kantar Marketplace as a leader in the market research platform space.

  • Launch new products and accelerate traction for existing products, together with a cross-functional team.

  • Generate marketing qualified leads and signups, working in collaboration with others to meet overall Kantar Marketplace business objectives.

  • Drive platform usage, repeat business and reduce churn.

Experience & Capabilities:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Product Marketing. A mix of startup and large enterprise experience is preferred, including some experience with software as a Service (SaaS) products.

  • Results-oriented, with a track record of implementing commercially successful marketing programs that drive growth. Capacity for both big-picture thinking and tactical execution.

  • Attentive to customer experience and the customer journey; understands how to turn external engagement data into actionable insights about the buyer.

  • Proactively seeks out solutions to business problems and brings fresh approaches to the organisation. Takes initiative to bypass roadblocks and thinks creatively on how to accomplish organisational goals.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as translate complex market research concepts into clear and approachable external-facing messaging.

  • Comfortable working with diverse, matrixed stakeholder groups, with the ability to establish strong cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organisation.

  • Capable of working at a fast pace, both independently and as part of a team.

This role is based in the UK, but we are open to applications from candidates in other European countries, as a hybrid/remote working model is available for this position.
