Job Description:
Product Manager is responsible for the business of Rekovelle and Lutinus, which mainly includes but not limited to, development and implementation of a business plan and he/she does independently and/or with the support/under the supervision of Marketing Director.
Main Accountabilities (duties and responsibilities) :
- Develop and implement a marketing plan:
- Analyze external environments through market research and external interactions.
- Identify key issues, barriers, and Key Success Factors.
- Build strategies and detailed tactics including an annual calendar, events, and promotional materials.
- Conduct necessary internal and external procedures.
- Track and analyze KPIs with Commercial Excellence and revise the plan if needed.
- Present the plan to Sales and relevant functions as well as to Global/APAC teams.
- (Forecast and manage promotional costs and production.)
- (mostly with support of Director) Increase capabilities of relevant and own functions:
- Lead cross-functional/ad-hoc brand meetings.
- Develop sales training materials with Commercial Excellence and Medical Affairs.
- Identify room for improvement/growth of relevant functions and figure out how to fill the gaps.
- (Standardize processes and scale know-hows)
- Maintain and develop relationships with Key External Experts and scientific societies.
- Attend to major scientific meetings, domestic and international.
Hard skills and experiences
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent one
- Over five years of working experience in the pharmaceutical (or relevant) and/or consulting industries
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point
- Language: native/fluent in Japanese and business level or above in English for communication with global/APAC members (assumed that improving English is his/her own responsibility if needed)
- Medical Science Degrees or MBA
- Experience of Sales, Marketing or Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liason
- Experience in infertility therapeutic area
- Experience in Digital Marketing
- Experience of vendor management
